We feel that it is important for the adults in our church family to get to know each other on a deeper level than what's possible during the Sunday morning worship service. That's why we offer various opportunities for smaller group fellowship. Contact the church office at 963-3306 for more information about any of the ministries below!
It's not just for the kids! We currently have three different adult Sunday school classes to choose from:
Parenting with a Biblical Perspective
This is a discussion-oriented class that practically applies lessons from the Bible to raising the children of today's generation.
The Wesleyan Quarterly This class studies a different book of the Bible each quarter, using materials published by the Wesleyan Church.
Topical Studies This is a topic-oriented class that applies Biblical principles to various issues being dealt with in today's world.
Small Group Ministries
Times and locations vary according to group
Small Group Ministries is an exciting opportunity for you to get to know other adults with similar interests or at similar stages of life in a much smaller, more intimate setting than the church can provide.
Groups of 4 to 10 people meet in the members' homes, and a typical meeting includes food, fellowship and a devotional. All members and attendees are encouraged to connect with a small group. If you are interested, please contact the church so that we can match you up with the perfect group for you!
College Night
Tuesdays, 6:00-9:00 PM at Pastor Tim's, next door to the church
A branch of the Small Group Ministries that's just for college-age adults, College Night is a great chance to escape the stresses of school and work for a few hours. Meet at Pastor Tim's house for games, devotionals, and lots of laughs!
Outreach Nights
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM, various locations
Outreach Nights are a great opportunity for adults to take a little time out of a busy week to serve others! Each week you will be placed on an outreach team and given an assignment that will help someone in need. It is a wonderful chance to stretch yourself and discover the joy that can be found in following the example Jesus set for us!
Women's Prayer & Bible Study
Thursdays, 9:00-10:30 AM downstairs
This is a time for the women of the church to share in fellowship and lift up to God the prayers and concerns of the church family. The group also takes time to work through a devotional study. For moms with young children, preschool care is available during this time.
Secret Pals
All year long
Women who take part in this ministry get a special someone to pray for and encourage throughout the year with cards or small gifts. Every spring we have a special breakfast where secret pals are revealed.
